I flew to Phoenix yesterday for the race this weekend. It's my first race 'out west'. I'm excited to work it but I don't enjoy the long flights - guess I'm getting old.
Jan and I have passed through here many times in the last 20 years, but never stopped, so I'm looking forward to being here and checking out the area a bit.
The photo above is taken off the balcony at my room this morning.
P.S. I'll write a synopsis of the sailing trip in a day or so.
